The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Reverend Nancy Campbell of the Gospel Outreach Christian Center. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent that the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Dear Heavenly Father, May your blessing be upon the Senate now as they labor together for the good of Alaska. Light their path as each member considers the assignments set before them this day. Bring resolution for any burdens they may be carrying.
