Senator Stedman was excused from a call of the Senate. Senator Kelly was absent. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Lieutenant Kim Warriner of The Salvation Army. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent that the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Dear Heavenly Father, As we celebrate the centennial legislative session, may we continue to strive to make Alaska a better state. May we continue to work on the foundation of those we follow and change what needs to be changed and keep what is good, ensuring that Alaska will be just as great in the next 100 years as she is today. Give us wisdom to take the right steps and the courage to make them. I pray that you will bless each person here in the Senate and keep safe their families in their absence. Consideration of the Calendar Senate Bills in Third Reading SB 7 SENATE BILL NO. 7 am "An Act relating to the computation of the tax on the taxable income of a corporation derived from sources within the state" which had been held in third reading (page 442), was before the Senate. Senators Wielechowski, French, Dyson, McGuire, Bishop, Fairclough, Meyer, Micciche, Dunleavy, Kelly moved and asked unanimous consent to be shown as cosponsors on the bill. Without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Olson moved and asked unanimous consent to abstain from voting due to a conflict of interest.
