We ask for your protection for everyone in this building, not only for our bodies, but our hearts, minds and spirits. We particularly ask for your superintending grace on our servicemen, law enforcement people and emergency responders; that you would not only cover them with your blood and your covenant, but that they would be safe and not discouraged. We especially pray, as you have commanded us, for our President, our Governor and all our executive departments that are making decisions on issues. Make us peacekeepers here. Keep us focused on our mission to serve the people of our state wisely. 2013-01-25 Senate Journal Page 0110 We ask you to guide us this day.
