     Spirit of Life and Source of Goodness, I give thanks that you                                                              
     have returned safely these legislators and staff members to                                                                
     this place for another week of service.  May the prayers                                                                   
     offered this day set the stage for compassionate and                                                                       
     productive decisions.  Grant to each one here the capacity to                                                              
     attend to their responsibilities with dedication and skill.  May
