Father God, I am thankful for the opportunity to pray for these leaders this morning. As they begin the work before them today, remind them that their first priority is to the citizens of the State of Alaska. Remind each person here of the profound privilege and responsibility it is to shape laws and policies that benefit the people of this state. I pray for endurance, patience and wisdom for each leader here. I pray for the respective areas that each person represents. Keep the needs of those areas ever at the forefront of the minds of the men and women here.
