Senators Davis, Hoffman, Huggins were excused from a call of the Senate. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Rabbi Dov Gartenberg of Congregation Sukkat Shalom. Senator McGuire moved and asked unanimous consent that the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. A Prayer for the Wonders in Nature Thank you, God, for the sand and the stars, for the oceans and the mountains, for all the living creatures whose spirits are somehow connected to my own.
