Senators Davis, Dyson, French, Menard were excused from a call of the Senate. Senator Wagoner was absent. Senator Meyer moved and asked unanimous consent that Senator Wagoner be excused from a call of the Senate today. Without objection, Senator Wagoner was excused. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Senator Wielechowski. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent that the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Dear Creator, as Mother's Day is soon upon us, we pray: For new mothers, coming to terms with new responsibility; For expectant mothers, wondering and waiting; For those who are tired, stressed or depressed; For those who struggle to balance the tasks of work and family; For those who are unable to feed their children due to poverty; For those whose children have physical, mental or emotional disabilities; For those who raise children on their own; For those who have lost a child; 2011-05-06 Senate Journal Page 1058 For those who care for the children of others; For those whose children have left home; and for those whose desire to be a mother has not been fulfilled. Bless all mothers, that their love may be deep and tender, and that they may lead their children to know and do what is good, living not for themselves alone, but for God and for others. Amen. Certification Senator Meyer moved and asked unanimous consent that the journal for the eighteenth legislative day be approved as certified by the Secretary. Without objection, it was so ordered. Special Committee Reports HB 108 Senator Meyer moved and asked unanimous consent to take up the Conference Committee Report on CONFERENCE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 108 "An Act making appropriations for the operating and loan program expenses of state government and for certain programs, capitalizing funds, amending appropriations, and making reappropriations; and providing for an effective date" which had been held on the Secretary's desk (page 1052). Without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Meyer moved that the Senate adopt the Conference Committee Report on CONFERENCE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 108. The question being: "Shall the Senate adopt the Conference Committee Report on CONFERENCE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 108 "An Act making appropriations for the operating and loan program expenses of state government and for certain programs, 2011-05-06 Senate Journal Page 1059 capitalizing funds, amending appropriations, and making reappropriations; and providing for an effective date"?"
