Representatives Feige, Gardner, and Hawker had been excused from a call of the House today. Representative Austerman moved and asked unanimous consent that Representative Saddler be excused from a call of the House from today to 10:30 a.m., May 3. There being no objection, it was so ordered. The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Representative T. Wilson. Representative P. Wilson moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. There being no objection, it was so ordered. With the deepest respect for the religious beliefs of all Alaskans, I offer the following prayer: Heavenly Father, as we enter into a new week, please grant us the wisdom and the discernment we need to continue conversations on matters that are so important to our great state.
