O Heavenly Father, Today I come before you asking for your guidance for the representatives of the people of the great state of Alaska. I ask that you would bless the people in this meeting today. Pour out your grace upon this assembly that wisdom may abound in these halls. Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding; for her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, and her gain than fine gold. She is more precious than 2011-02-18 House Journal Page 0284 rubies, and all the things you may desire cannot compare with her. Length of days is in her right hand, in her left hand riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. Give each one in this hall strength; give each one courage; give each one clearness of mind; give each one patience. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Representative Holmes. CERTIFICATION OF THE JOURNAL Representative P.
