We look back on things like the resurrection, Easter which is coming up, Good Friday, palms and Jesus who is essential to many of our lives religiously. I ask you to remind us of that, to educate us on that and I ask for your blessings upon our actions as we move forward. I think of these young kids, seated behind me, who are the future of our country and state. I ask you to bless and educate them. Father, finally today, I say to you that there are many young men and women deployed across the oceans defending our country and I ask you to bless them and bring them home safely. In Jesus' name. Amen. 2009-04-09 Senate Journal Page 0850 Senator Dyson led the Senate in the Pledge of Allegiance.
