Representatives Edgmon, Harris, Johansen, Millett, Stoltze, and P. Wilson had been excused from a call of the House today. Representative Guttenberg was absent and his presence was noted later. Representative Thomas was absent. The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Nancy Campbell of Gospel Outreach Christian Center. Representative Dahlstrom moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. There being no objection, it was so ordered. With deepest respect for the religious beliefs of each person here, I offer this prayer. May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of the God of Jacob defend you. May He send you help from the sanctuary and strengthen you out of Zion… Psalms 20:1-2 Dear Lord, I ask for strength and help for this legislative body, that you would be their defense.
