I want to thank you for all that you have done for me personally and I ask that you would think about all the things that we need individually and collectively. Lord, may we do away with resentment and unforgiveness and may we be willing to compromise when necessary, so that we may carry out the works for which you have placed us here. I know that we are blessed in the sense that you have allowed us to serve in this body. We are not only blessed but highly favored. We should do all that we can, do the best that we can, not just for our individual purposes but for the needs of this state. 2008-07-31 Senate Journal Page 3222 Lord, please let us honor you as you have asked us to honor our mothers and fathers in the Ten Commandments.
