Heavenly Father, we are thankful for our blessings; we're thankful for the freedoms we enjoy; we're thankful for those that protect and defend our freedoms. While we pray for peace, we pray that thou would bless those who are protecting and helping us, those that serve far away and those that serve here to watch out for our rights and our safety. We pray that thou would bless this body in their deliberations. We pray that any who are traveling will do so in safety and enjoy time with their family, friends and associates. We pray for those that will remain and continue to labor on behalf of Alaskans - that they would be safe and that they will know their efforts are appreciated. I thank thee for what we have, acknowledge thy blessings and pray that thou would continue to bless us in the name of Jesus Christ.
