Heavenly Father, you created all people with the right to make free choices; I thank you for the country and the state in which we live. Thank You for the freedom this Senate has to gather here and to freely discuss and debate matters of state without coercion or fear of retaliation. Thank you for the liberty that we enjoy both as Alaskans and as Americans. Watch over these men and women in this Senate today. Give them discernment and wisdom in all they say and do. Thank you for the sacrifice that they make as they leave their families to come serve here. Watch over their families while they are away and protect their families. 2007-03-28 Senate Journal Page 0672 I thank you for the men and women of this state and country who have given their lives so that we can enjoy our freedoms.
