Pursuant to adjournment the House was called to order by Speaker

Roll call showed 37 members present.  Representatives Chenault,                                                                 
Holmes, and Meyer were absent and their presence was noted later.                                                               
                                                                                                                                
Representative Samuels moved and asked unanimous consent that                                                                   
Representative Foster be excused from a call of the House each                                                                  
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., for the                                                              
remainder of the legislative session and special sessions.  There being
