With deepest respect for the religious beliefs of all Alaskans, we offer the following prayer. God of grace and God of glory, I pray for the health of those gathered here so that their energies can go into the weighty tasks at hand and they can be strong for the work ahead. May they find peace regarding any concerns or worries about their loved ones at home so that they can be fully attentive to the issues facing this House, indeed the whole state government. I pray that the members can so work together that they experience more fully the insights and expanded horizons that can come from listening well to those with whom they disagree and that they can with clarity and conviction speak from their own hearts and minds. May there be some fully unexpected good news come to this House. Amen. 2008-03-18 House Journal Page 2324 The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Representative Doll.
