Our Heavenly Father, as we bow in prayer we give thanks for the many blessings we enjoy here. The blessing of freedom to govern ourselves, the blessing of a beautiful state to live and work in, and the blessing of the people we represent. We also are grateful for each other in the friendships we form and the institution that we are stewards of. We ask for wisdom from you as we contend with our different views, and I especially ask for your divine guidance as we deal with the recent indictments. As we enter the last week of session, we reflect on the many good things that have been worked on by so many in this building, with special gratitude for our staff. 2007-05-09 House Journal Page 1206 Now we look for help from above to guide us in these last few days. Let us be kind one to another as the tension rises and as we passionately defend our issues; help us be respectful of each other. We are thankful for our families.
