Dear Father, the One to whom we turn in times of tragedy and weakness, we ask for your tender mercies today. We add our prayers and our thoughts to those of our nation, for the men and women who are grieving today over the loss of loved ones who were shot at Virginia Tech. Comfort them not only with your comfort, but also bring alongside those who are 2007-04-17 House Journal Page 0812 grieving people who will stand with them and help carry them through the coming days.
