In deepest respect for the religious beliefs of each person here, I invite you into a time of prayer and reflection. Let us pray. st Eternal God, on this the 31 day of this session of the legislature, grant that the members of this House may be able to sort through the mountain of paper that has crossed their desks to discover the core issues that must be faced and the major problems that must be solved. May they work together this day to move their work forward. Teach them to better know themselves that, knowing their own weaknesses, they may be on guard. Teach them to better understand other people that they may view their shortcomings with charity, their virtues with appreciation, and their acts of kindness with gratitude. 2007-02-15 House Journal Page 0240 When the work of this day has been completed and they prepare to travel across this great state, may their planes fly on schedule and take them safely to their homes, their families, and their constituents.
