Representative Kohring had been excused from a call of the House today. Representative Chenault was absent and his presence was noted later. Representatives Gara and Joule were absent. The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Nancy Campbell. Representative Dahlstrom moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. There being no objection, it was so ordered. With respect for the religious beliefs of each person here, I offer the following prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, I entreat your favor on behalf of these legislators called here to represent their constituents and to convey their district's needs. Grant them good health, sharpness of mind to debate the issues set before them, and wisdom and courage to decree justice. Most of all, Lord, I pray they would walk uprightly in all they do with honor and respect for one another. Bless them this day, Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen.
