MESSAGES FROM THE SENATE A message dated January 16, 2007, was read stating the Senate accepted the invitation to meet in joint session in the House Chamber at 7:00 p.m., January 17 to hear the Governor's combined State of the State and Budget Address. A message dated January 17, 2007, was read stating the Senate accepted the invitation to meet in joint session in the House Chamber at 11:00 a.m., February 22 to hear an address by the Honorable Lisa Murkowski, U.S. Senator. A message dated January 17, 2007, was read stating the Senate accepted the invitation to meet in joint session in the House Chamber at 11:00 a.m., February 28 to hear the State of the Judiciary Address by Chief Justice Dana Fabe. A message dated January 16, 2007, was read stating the Senate confirmed the following members to the Select Committee on Legislative Ethics: 2007-01-18 House Journal Page 0060 Senator Stevens Senator Bunde Senator French (Alternate) Senator Wilken (Alternate) COMMUNICATIONS Letters dated January 17, 2007, were received from Dana Fabe, Chief Justice of the Alaska Supreme Court, stating that she has nominated the following public members for reappointment to the Select Committee on Legislative Ethics: Ann Rabinowitz H. Conner Thomas The Speaker referred the appointments to the Judiciary Committee.
