People use many different words for the higher power they believe or do not believe in. It is this diversity of paradigm which lends complexity and interest to the world we live in, but it also can make the job of the members of this Body difficult. We ask for guidance from whatever we may believe in and that it might also offer us peace and wisdom for both today and all days after this. Amen. 2006-08-09 House Journal Page 4359 The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Representative Gardner.
