Representatives Anderson, Dahlstrom, Gruenberg, Kapsner, McGuire, and Salmon were absent and their presence was noted later. Representatives Cissna, Gardner, and Kott were absent. Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that the following member be excused from a call of the House. Representative Croft moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Dear Heavenly Father, We thank You for the change of pace we all just experienced while going back to our districts during our Memorial break. We were refreshed, re-energized and are now ready to get back to work. Give us knowledge and understanding in all parts of the contract. Help us to be aware of the long-term effects to our state and give us wisdom as we make decisions and vote for each detail. We ask for Your peace during this time. May frustrations be few and cooperation and compromise be uncomplicated. Help us work with the other body, have a good public process and come to a final commitment that all can be satisfied with. Thank You, Father, for Your love and Your watchful eye over us.
