With deep respect for the religious beliefs of all Alaskans, I offer the following prayer of affirmation. The Lord will give strength unto his people; The Lord will bless his people with peace. (Psalms 29:11) As we go into the final weeks of this legislative session, let us rejoice that God has given us the strength to accomplish the tasks that are set before us. Divine Spirit has created each of us with all the spiritual strength needed to do his will. Because we are the expression of Spirit we can move through our days with vigor, enthusiasm, and purpose. Knowing every day "This is the day the Lord hath made" affirms that God is in control of our day and so it will be harmonious, productive, and joyous. 2006-04-18 House Journal Page 3176 God's inexhaustible supply of ideas is coming to each of us to meet the needs of the state and of each individual constituent. These ideas are from divine love so are never in conflict with each other, but bless everyone abundantly. Infinite love is the underlying principle of our being so we have the strength to stand up for what is right. We are grateful that as we wait upon the Lord, he shall renew our strength and we will be blessed with peace. Amen. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Representative Gruenberg. CERTIFICATION OF THE JOURNAL Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that the journal for the 95th, 96th, 97th, 98th, and 99th legislative days be approved as certified by the Chief Clerk.
