Representatives Anderson, Hawker, and McGuire were absent and their presence was noted later. Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that the following members be excused from a call of the House. There being no objection, the members were excused as noted: Representative Salmon - from today to 2:00 p.m., plane time, April 18, 2006 Representative Weyhrauch - from 11:50 a.m. to 1:05 p.m., today The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Pastor Gary Waterhouse of the Juneau and Sitka Seventh-day Adventist Churches. Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. There being no objection, it was so ordered. How great and all powerful is our God. You are full of wonder and splendor. We see the reflections of Your beauty and hear the sounds of Your majesty wherever we turn. All of the splendor of this land is a reflection of Your creative power. Thank You for the men and women who sit in these chambers today. They have some mighty issues to deal with again, God, and we ask for Your help.
