O God of justice, light of the world, source of all who look beyond themselves for hope, unite this body of Representatives in service to the people of, by, and for whom they have been assembled. Equip them with wisdom, humility, and selfless courage. Inspire them with a healing vision for the state of Alaska, and let their deliberations be guided by clarity of conscience and will. 2006-03-06 House Journal Page 2710 You, O God, are the strength of the weak and the servant of all who serve. You are the unity of all that is broken in the world, and Your ways alone are able to bring us justice and peace. As this assembly begins, may all be filled with thanksgiving and faithfulness, ever aware of the sacred circle that encompasses all our days and all our ways. In hope and reverence we pray. Amen.
