Senators Cowdery, Davis, Dyson, Hoffman, Ogan, Olson, Gary Stevens were excused from a call of the Senate. Senator Wagoner was absent. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Pastor Sam Dalin of the River of Glory Church. Senator Green led the Senate in the Pledge of Allegiance. Certification Senator Ben Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent that the journals for the fifty-seventh and fifty-eighth legislative days be approved as certified by the Secretary. Without objection, it was so ordered. SB 154 SENATE BILL NO. 154 BY SENATOR FRENCH, entitled: "An Act relating to a student loan repayment program for nurses, and amending the duties of the Board of Nursing that relate to this program; and providing for an effective date." was read the first time and referred to the Health, Education and Social Services, Labor and Commerce and Finance Committees. SB 155 SENATE BILL NO. 155 BY SENATOR SEEKINS, entitled: "An Act relating to hunting on the same day airborne; and providing for an effective date." was read the first time and referred to the Judiciary and Resources Committees.
