Full Journal pdf2003-02-05 Senate Journal Page 0117 SENATE JOURNAL ALASKA STATE LEGISLATURE TWENTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE -- FIRST SESSION Juneau, Alaska Wednesday February 5, 2003 Sixteenth Day Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President Therriault at 11:06 a.m. The roll showed nineteen members present. Senator Olson was excused from a call of the Senate. The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, The Reverend Kathleen Wakefield of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Senator Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent that the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Creator God, as we join the nation in mourning the death of the seven astronauts killed in the explosion of the shuttle Columbia, help us remember the things that are most important to us. Remind us once again to care for the people we love and cherish. Remind us that it is relationships that matter most, and that, by our common humanity, we are also called to care for the least of Your children. Amen. Senator French led the Senate in the Pledge of Allegiance. Certification Senator Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent that the journals for the fourteenth and fifteenth legislative days be approved as certified by the Secretary.
