Pursuant to adjournment the House was called to order by Speaker                                    
Kott at 11:26 a.m.                                                                                  
                                                                                                    
                                                                                                    
Roll call showed 35 members present.  Representatives Cissna and                                    
Kapsner had been previously excused from a call of the House today.                                 
Representatives Berkowitz, Chenault, and Rokeberg were absent and                                   
their presence was noted later.                                                                     
                                                                                                    
                                                                                                    
The invocation was offered by the Chaplain, Pastor Mike Powers of                                   
Church of the Nazarene.  Representative Gruenberg moved and asked                                   
unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal.  There                              
being no objection, it was so ordered.                                                              
                                                                                                    
    Lord God, we come to You today with grateful hearts because                                     
    of this beautiful day You have given us to live.  May all we do                                 
    today reflect that gratitude and acknowledgement that You are                                   
    the source of all that we have.  Lord, we need You in all that                                  
    we do, so I would ask today that You would give these our                                       
    Representatives strength and wisdom to fulfill their duties.                                    
    You say that if we ask, we will receive, so we trust that You                                   
    will.  Bless them, protect them, and give them Your                                             
    righteousness that only comes through yielding to You and                                       
      Your will.  In this day, Lord, may Your will be done.
