In His hand are the depths of the earth; and the mountain peaks belong to Him. The sea is His, for He made it, and His hands formed the dry land. (Psalm 95:3-5) Thank You Father for creating such a place as Alaska. We see the beauty of Your creation and we are thankful for the blessing of living here. This morning we ask You to pour out Your wisdom on these servants to whom You have entrusted the stewardship of this Great Land. The people and resources of Alaska are rich in culture and vast in diversity. The decisions to be made in overseeing them are complex and difficult but our reliance and trust are in God, so come upon these men and women today and encourage and strengthen them in their 2002-04-19 Senate Journal Page 2854 labor. May the decisions made today be those that will bring glory to God; health, prosperity, security, and fulfillment of life to the people of this state. May God bless all of you today. Amen.
