Representative Kohring had been previously excused from a call of the House today. Representative Ogan was excused from a call of the House today due to illness. Representative Kookesh was absent and his presence was noted later. Representatives Masek and Moses were absent. The invocation was offered by Pastor Daymond Geary of Restoration Grace Outreach Center. Representative Davies moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. There being no objection, it appears below: "When I think of the wisdom and scope of God's plan, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will give you mighty inner strength through his Holy Spirit. In addition, I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love. May you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now glory be to God! By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope." (Ephesians 3:14-20) 2001-03-29 House Journal Page 0766 Father, pour out Your great love on each member of this body, his or her staff, office personnel, and each family member. Guide each one in the decisions to be made for the advancements of our state and for the welfare of all our citizens. Lord, protect each one from harm as we commit them this day to Your grace. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Representative Foster.
