Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President            
Pearce at 1:11 p.m.                                                            
                                                                               
The roll showed twenty members present.                                        
                                                                               
The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Senator Ward. Senator                  
Hoffman moved and asked unanimous consent that the prayer be                   
spread. Without objection, it was so ordered.                                  
                                                                               
Dear Lord, we thank You very much for this day                                
that Youve given us. We hope You put a special                                 
blessing upon the decisions we make today, and                                 
please, a special blessing on those who are sick or                            
ill. May we all, throughout the day, know that we                              
are doing Your will. Through Your efforts and Your                             
Son dying for us, we give all praise and glory to                              
Jesus Christ.                                   Amen.
