Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President            
Pearce at 11:13 a.m.                                                           
                                                                               
The roll showed seventeen members present. Senators Donley,                    
Hoffman were excused from a call of the Senate. Senator Lincoln                
was absent.                                                                    
                                                                               
Senator Mackie moved and asked unanimous consent that Senator                  
Lincoln be excused from a call of the Senate due to illness. Without           
objection, it was so ordered.                                                  
                                                                               
The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Father Mike Nash of the                
Cathedral of the Nativity Catholic Church.
