The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Reverend Larry Olson of the Eagle Wings Community Church. Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that the prayer be spread. Without objection, it was so ordered. Our Lord and Creator, You have blessed this state with tremendous wealth. The riches You have given us are beyond imagination. Help us not to believe that we are poor when we are very rich. We pray for those who are alcoholic; those who are addicted to marijuana; those who are dependent on cocaine, opioids, amphetamines and tobacco. We pray for freedom for them from their addictions. I ask that there would be the treatment services in this state to help them along their journey to recovery. We continue to pray for Roger McKowan, for courage, strength, patience, and healing. Amen. Senator Green led the Senate in the Pledge of Allegiance. Certification Senator Mackie moved and asked unanimous consent that the journal for the seventy-eighth legislative day be approved as certified by the Secretary.
