Pursuant to adjournment the Senate was called to order by President            
Pearce at 11:05 a.m.                                                           
                                                                               
The roll showed sixteen members present. Senators Lincoln, Miller,             
Phillips, Taylor were excused from a call of the Senate.                       
                                                                               
The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Reverend Kim Poole of the              
Douglas Community United Methodist Church.
