Father, You said You would hear us from heaven and would heal the land if we would humble ourselves and seek Your face, and if we would repent of our evil ways. Father, our land needs healing. So we seek Your face today, we humble ourselves and pray, we do repent of our sins and ask for forgiveness. Father, please heal the land. Heal whatever is causing such violence in our schools and restore peace to our children. 1999-05-06 House Journal Page 1192 Heal our moral decadence and restore righteousness. Heal the racial prejudice and bigotry that still divides us and restore love. Heal the hurts of the many that are victims of the social ills of our land and restore hope. Heal our cynicism and restore our faith. Heal our families that have been traumatized by breakup and domestic violence and restore strength and soundness to our homes. Heal our backslidings from the principles of Your word and restore our moral and spiritual integrity. We also pray that You will minister strength and comfort to people in the Great Plains who have suffered loss because of the tornadoes. We ask these things for Your glory.
