Heavenly Father, Your Son, Jesus, taught us that Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God. (Matthew 7:9) Our prayer today, Lord, is that we would all experience this peace of which He spoke; peace with You as we acknowledge You as Almighty God, our God, peace with others as we take the high road of unselfishness; and peace within ourselves as we choose to walk before You and others in integrity guided by love. May our attitudes and actions make for peace in every part of our lives. Amen.
