Miller at 11:02 a.m.                                                           
                                                                               
The roll showed sixteen members present.  Senators Halford,                    
Hoffman were excused from a call of the Senate.  Senators Parnell,             
Pearce were absent.                                                            
                                                                               
The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Pastor Kim Poole of the                
Douglas United Methodist Church.
