We thank You for bringing us together in this building to conduct the business that You have called us to. Father, I lift up these Senators to You today, with all of their cares and concerns. Many of them bring burdens that only You know about. Remind them of Your love and care. Some of them have burdens so grave and personal that perhaps they see no hope. And all of these Senators carry the burdens of this great land we call Alaska. Help us to see that we are simply stewards of the blessings You have bestowed upon us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
