Letter dated March 27 was read stating:

Dear Madam President:

The Legislative Budget and Audit Committee has met to consider the
governor's appointees to the Alaska Permanent Fund Board of
Trustees.

As you may know, the legislature no longer has the authority to
confirm appointees to this board; however, the LBA committee is
directed by statute to review the qualifications of the appointees and
make recommendations to the legislature.

Accordingly, the committee has met and considered the qualifications
of Grace Schaible, Melphine Evans Reynolds, and Eric Wohlforth,
and has unanimously agreed all are qualified to represent the people
of Alaska on this critical board.

					Sincerely yours,
					/s/
