Full Journal pdf1996-05-05 Senate Journal Page 4032 UNFINISHED BUSINESS HJR 54 SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 54(RES) Encouraging the lessees of Alaska's vast North Slope natural gas reserves to reach agreement to market gas, expressing the legislature's support for an Alaska North Slope (ANS) gas transmission pipeline, and requesting the President of the United States and the Governor of the State of Alaska to publicly support and take action that will help expedite the construction of that system. President Pearce appointed Senators Sharp, Duncan to the Interim Task Force. HB 2 Senator Halford, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent that the Finance Committee referral be waived on CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 2(FIN) An Act providing for incarceration of certain nonviolent offenders in boot camps operated by the Department of Corrections; making prisoners who complete the boot camp program eligible for furloughs and discretionary parole; allowing the Department of Corrections to contract with a person for a boot camp program; creating the Boot Camp Program Advisory Board in the Department of Corrections. Without objection, the bill was referred to the Rules Committee.
