Representative Vezey moved and asked unanimous consent that HCSCSSB93(RES) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Objection was heard. The Speaker stated that HCS CSSB 93(RES) will be in third reading on the May 7, 1995, calendar. SB 123 The following, which had been held in second reading until today's calendar (page 1896), was again before the House: CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 123(FIN) "An Act relating to student loan programs and fees for review of postsecondary education institutions; relating to a postsecondary student exchange program administered by the Western Interstate Commission on Higher Education; and providing for an effective date." Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Elton: Page 5, following line 26: Insert a new paragraph to read: "(6) serving, for up to two years, as a full-time volunteer under the National and Community Service Trust Act of 1993 (Americorps);" Renumber the following paragraphs accordingly. Representative Elton moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Objection was heard.
