The prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Rev. Larry Olson of the Resurrection Lutheran Church. Senator Phillips led the Senate in the Pledge of Allegiance. CERTIFICATION Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that the journal for the third legislative day and Senate and House Joint Journal Supplement No. 1 be approved as certified by the Secretary. Without objection, it was so ordered. Without objection, Senator Miller was excused. Senator Pearce moved and asked unanimous consent that she be excused from a call of the Senate from 4:00 p.m., January 15 - January 18. Without objection, Senator Pearce was excused. Senator Salo moved and asked unanimous consent that she be excused from a call of the Senate from plane time January 15 to plane time January 18. Without objection, Senator Salo was excused. RECESS Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that the Senate recess to the Joint Session at 7:55 p.m. Without objection, the Senate recessed at 11:20 a.m.
