Representative B.Davis, who had previously been excused from a call of the House today, was present. Representatives Carney, Navarre and Nordlund were absent. The invocation was offered by the Chaplain Designee, Representative Green. Representative Hudson moved and asked unanimous consent that the invocation be spread on the journal. There being no objection, it appears below: "Almighty and Everlasting God, we thank You for seeing to it that we all made it here safely today for the special session. Lord, we ask You that our deliberations today be meaningful and succinct. We're always keeping in mind that all things come from You and as long as we are reverent, all things will be done in Your good and glory. In Jesus' name, we pray this. Amen." Representative Willis moved and asked unanimous consent that he be allowed to abstain from voting due to a possible conflict of interest.
