01 "An Act making a special appropriation to the Alaska permanent fund; and providing                                      
02 for an effective date."                                                                                                 
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. The sum of $5,500,000,000 is appropriated from the earnings reserve account                           
05 (AS 37.13.145) to the principal of the Alaska permanent fund (art. IX, sec. 15, Constitution of                         
06 the State of Alaska).                                                                                                   
07    * Sec. 2. LAPSE. The appropriation made by sec. 1 of this Act is for the capitalization of a                     
08 fund and does not lapse.                                                                                                
09    * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
