01 "An Act relating to the use of electronically generated ballots."                                                       
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1.  AS 15.15.032 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                          
04            (d)  The director shall verify that the electronically generated ballot equipment                            
05       and software is recording votes properly by comparing the paper record of every 10th                              
06       electronically generated ballot with the electronic record of that ballot as soon as those                        
07       ballots are cast.
