00HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 22 01 Proposing an amendment to the Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature 02 relating to the daily calendar; and providing for an effective date. 03 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. Rule 18 of the Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature is amended to 05 read: 06  RULE 18 DAILY CALENDAR. The Rules Committee of each house is 07 responsible for the preparation of the daily calendar. Pending the printing of the 08 calendar the contents of the calendar shall be announced or posted at least 24 hours 09 before it is considered by the house [ON THE DAY PRECEDING THE NEXT 10 LEGISLATIVE DAY]. Changes to a calendar or approval of a supplementary 11 calendar may be authorized by a two-thirds vote of the members present. No business 12 shall be transacted nor any measure considered that is not on the calendar. A bill may 13 not be withdrawn from the Rules Committee but the house may order a bill in the 14 possession of the Rules Committee to be placed on the calendar for the next legislative

01 day by a majority vote of the full membership of the house. 02 * Sec. 2. The amendment proposed by this resolution takes effect immediately.
