STATEMENT :I am proud of the work I did over the last two years and it has truly been an honor to serve my community as a representative. All anyone can truly promise with fidelity is they will listen to constituents, put in more than full days, work smart and remember they work for the people of their community. I believe the only way for voters to avoid election remorse is for the candidates to be honest and clear on where they stand on important issues. So here we go:
What I'm for: A sustainable, balanced state budget. Alaskan energy independence Paying the PFD by following the law or changing the law. Supporting education in all forms. Protecting life. Listening and responding to constituents. Applying conservative values to create pragmatic solutions.
What I'm against: Broken promises and negative campaigning. Partisan, pointless bickering that produces no results. Government overreach, taxes, and unnecessary bureaucracy.
Between serving for years in local government and now as your Representative, your priorities have always been my priorities. As a result, I sponsored and passed multiple pieces of legislation in the last two years that directly help the residents of Alaska and Kenai/Soldotna. To learn more, go to voteruffridge.com. I would be honored to serve you for another two years. Together we will accomplish great things. We are just getting started.
