CHAIRMAN RANDY PHILLIPS called the Senate Rules Committee meeting                                                             
to order at 1:12 p.m. Senators Cowdery, Ellis and Phillips were                                                                 
present.                                                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR ELLIS moved to calendar SB 2009-ALASKA VETERANS ADVISORY                                                            
COUNCIL and any accompanying fiscal notes at the Chairman's                                                                 
discretion.                                                                                                                     
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR COWDERY asked if this bill differs from the earlier bill                                                                
[SB 54].                                                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR ELLIS said he does not believe there is any difference.                                                                 
                                                                                                                                
CHAIRMAN PHILLIPS announced that without objection, the motion                                                                  
carried. He then announced the committee would recess to a call                                                                 
of the Chair.
