APPROVED FOR CALENDARING SENATE BILL NO. 152 "An Act relating to the handling of and interest on contract controversies involving the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities or state agencies to whom the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities delegates the responsibility for handling the controversies." APPROVED FOR CALENDARING SENATE BILL NO. 184 "An Act relating to user contributions toward the cost of construction of certain water and sewage facilities." APPROVED FOR CALENDARING HOUSE BILL NO. 137 "An Act relating to records of veterans of the armed forces; and providing for an effective date." ACTION NARRATIVE TAPE 01-7, SIDE A  CHAIRWOMAN DRUE PEARCE called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order at 11:50 a.m. Present were Senators Cowdery, Ellis and Pearce. The committee had four bills to consider for calendaring. SENATOR COWDERY moved to calendar SB 149-TEACHER RETIREMENT,  REEMPLOYMENT,CERTIFICATE. There being no objection, the motion carried. SENATOR COWDERY moved to calendar SB 152-DOTPF-RELATED CONTRACT  CLAIMS. There being no objection, the motion carried. SENATOR COWDERY moved to calendar SB 184-CONSTRUCTION OF WATER &  SEWAGE FACILITIES. SENATOR ELLIS objected. SENATOR COWDERY withdrew his motion to calendar SB 184. SENATOR COWDERY moved to calendar HB 137-RECORDS OF VETERANS. There being no objection, the motion carried. The committee took a brief at-ease. CHAIRWOMAN PEARCE called the meeting back to order. Senator Therriault arrived. SENATOR COWDERY moved to calendar SB 184-CONSTRUCTION OF WATER &  SEWAGE FACILITIES. SENATOR ELLIS objected. The motion to calendar SB 184 carried with Senators Cowdery, Therriault, and Pearce voting "yea," and Senator Ellis voting "nay." There being no further business to come before the committee, CHAIRWOMAN PEARCE announced that the capital budget may be calendared for floor action on Saturday and adjourned the meeting.
